Handbag Size Matters

July 12, 2006 by Mallory Road

I’m leaving work early today to go to a concert with a couple friends, so I’m rushing about trying to get everything ready to go when I suddenly discover the purse I want to carry, my favorite Elliott Lucca Arianna Mini Satchel, isn’t large enough to carry everything I think I need to take—yes, I am taking binoculars because I’m not sure how close our seats are.

So, what’s a girl to do? I have other larger bags that would work, so do I sacrifice my desired choice of bag, which is going to go perfect with the outfit I’m wearing, just so I can carry everything I need, or do I try to stuff my satchel full and risk harming the zipper? My solution: I quickly (well, maybe not so quickly) took a scan and weeded out everything but the absolute necessities and managed to fit them inside the satchel with a bit of strategic positioning!

Hmm. Change your outfit! ? :-\

I need more time to reflect. ;-)

Yeah, changing my outfit would have been the practical and wise choice, but of course, I had a particular top in mind to wear to the show—I can be too picky sometimes, which can be a pain every now and then! :)

could you have found out how close the seats are to see if you really need the binoculars-but i found it always depends on how you load a purse how much you can fit in-
